Catchball World LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Catchball Connect web application (the "App") available at catchballconnect.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use our App. By accessing or using Catchball Connect, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

2.1 Information You Provide

When you register for an account or use our App, you may provide us with:

• Profile details: date of birth, address, phone number, T-shirt size, team number, team name, year you started playing Catchball, biography
• Communications: messages sent through our direct messaging features, discussion board posts, and join request forms
• Payment information: when making donations or purchases through our integrated payment processors (Zeffy, Shopify)
• User-generated content: photos, videos, business listings, quiz results, and other content you share

We believe you should control who sees your information. Catchball Connect provides granular privacy settings that allow you to choose the visibility of each profile field:

• Everyone: Visible to all App visitors, including non-members
• Members Only: Visible only to registered and logged-in members
• Friends Only: Visible only to members on your friends list
• Private: Visible only to you and Club Owners/Administrators

The following information is always visible to all members: your screen name, first name, team location, and profile photo. Club Owners always have permission to view all member information for administrative purposes.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

• Other Members: According to your privacy settings, other members may see your profile information, posts, and activity
• Service Providers: Third-party companies that help us operate the App (hosting, analytics, payment processing)
• Payment Processors: Zeffy (for donations and member charges) and Shopify (for merchandise purchases) process payments on our behalf and have their own privacy policies
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental regulation
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL), secure authentication protocols, and regular security audits. Catchball Connect is designed for adult women athletes ages 25-60. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or 16 in the EU). If we learn that we have collected information from a child, we will promptly delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

10. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or reporting purposes.

The App may contain links to third-party websites and services (including Shopify, Zeffy, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing them with your information.
